SOAR Learning Center
Academic Excellence. Christian Character. Brighter Futures.
A FREE Community Tutoring Ministry of Greater Christ Temple.
Helping children discover their God-given potential through education, encouragement, mentorship, and faith.
About SOAR
The SOAR Learning Center extends our ministry beyond Sunday mornings by providing free academic support and mentoring for local students.
SOAR is a Christ-centered educational ministry designed to strengthen academic achievement while helping children develop confidence, character, and lifelong learning habits. Students receive tutoring, homework assistance, enrichment activities, and caring mentorship in a safe, structured environment where they are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
Our Mission
The mission of SOAR is to empower students to reach their God-given potential by providing free academic support, mentorship, and educational enrichment that strengthens families and helps transform communities.
Why SOAR Matters
Many children in our community face significant educational challenges due to limited access to after-school academic support, safe learning environments, and consistent adult mentorship.
SOAR helps bridge these gaps by providing:
- Free tutoring
- Homework assistance
- Reading and math support
- Positive Christian role models
- Character development
- Safe after-school supervision
- Family engagement
By investing in children today, we are helping build stronger families, stronger schools, and a stronger community tomorrow.
